Warfighter is the sequel to the 2010 reboot of the Medal of Honor series, continuing the missions of Preacher, Mother and Voodoo and taking the action to locations all over the world. From the deserts of Afghanistan, to hostage rescuing in the Philippines, to tackling pirates on the Somali coast, each mission in the game is based on the true accounts and experiences of real Special Forces servicemen and women, giving MoH: Warfighter a realism that sets it apart from other first-person shooters.
This time the missions form an overarching storyline connecting them, and a personal story for Preacher, whose family is being torn apart by his years of combat deployment. These two tales intertwine when a deadly attack on US soil threatens his family, and reminds him it is them – and their safety – that he\’s doing all this for.
Medal of Honor Warfighter also features extensive multiplayer modes powered by Battlefield 3\’s Frostbite 2 engine. As well as a unique co-operative campaign, there\’s the chance to play as Special Forces operators from all over the world, including the British SAS, Russian Spetsnaz, German KSK and US Navy SEALS. And the best of the world\’s warriors can even go head to head in the multinational \’blue vs blue\’ mode!
